Angela Ruch, niece of former Daytona 500 Champion Derrike Cope, made her 2019 debut in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the historical super speedway in the No. 8 JJ Resources Chevy, which was one for the record books. On February 15, 2019 Angela became the first female in NASCAR Truck Series history to lead laps at Daytona International Speedway.
The race came at an already crucial point in Angela’s life, her and her husband Mike Ruch are adopting a child that was expected to be born in Charlotte on Thursday night (Feb. 14), they both are still on standby, patiently awaiting their new baby boy.
Angela’s husband Mike is founder and CEO of Industrial Timber one of the largest frame manufacturers in the world, Angela and Mike are in their ninth year together, with an incredible unbreakable bond.
Angela showcased her power behind the wheel at Daytona and will do it again at Las Vegas Speedway on March 1, 2019. Angela’s power on the track, the power they both demonstrate in business, are currently filming a new reality series, The Ruch Life, they are becoming a true power couple and the world will soon be able to be apart of their incredible journey.
