Angela Ruch, niece of former Daytona 500 Champion Derrike Cope, made her 2019 debut in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the historical super speedway in the No. 8 JJ Resources Chevy. On February 15, 2019, Angela became the first female in history with the NASCAR Truck Series to lead laps at Daytona International Speedway.

The race came at an already crucial point in Angela’s life when her and her husband, Mike Ruch, were patiently waiting on standby to pick up their second adopted child, who was born in Charlotte on February 14th – just one night before the race.

In November 2019, after the race, Angela and Mike welcomed home their new baby girl. “We are so fortunate in life, I want to give back and help those who weren’t born into such fortunate situations”, said Angela. She went on to say, “I love kids, and sadly the world has so many in need of love and a fresh start”.

Mike Ruch is the founder and CEO of Industrial Timber, one of the largest frame manufacturers in the world. He is also a partner in a venture capital firm, Global Growth, which buys and partners with growing businesses to provide capital, strategy, and direction to scale effectively and eventually sell for much more. Angela and Mike are in their ninth year together, with an incredible unbreakable bond.

Angela’s drive on the track, her love and dedication as a mother of two and the strength that both Angela and Mike demonstrate in business, are currently being filmed and captured in the first season of The Ruch Life. They are becoming a true power couple and the world will soon be able to be apart of their incredible journey together.
